Whether you arrive by car, train or plane - in this section you will find some helpful information to assist finding your way to the conference.

By Car

Travelling to the Stadthalle Braunschweig by car is very easy and comfortable. The conference center is located close to the main station. You will find the Stadthalle Braunschweig or the main station sign posted throughout the city. These are the important Autobahnen (highways) to Braunschweig:

From the North: Follow highway A7 towards Kassel / Hannover until you reach the interchange onto highway A2 towards Berlin.

From the East: Follow highway A2 towards Magdeburg / Hannover / Dortmund until you arrive at the interchange Wolfsburg / Königslutter, then continue on highway A39 towards Braunschweig / Kassel.

From the South: Follow highway A7 towards Hannover / Hamburg until you reach the interchange Salzgitter, then continue on highway A39 towards Wolfsburg / Berlin

From the West: Follow highway A2 towards Hannover / Magdeburg / Berlin until you arrive at the interchange Braunschweig Nord and continue on highway A391 towards Braunschweig / Kassel / Salzgitter until you reach the interchange Ölper. Then follow highway A392 directing to Braunschweig's city center.

By Train

The Deutsche Bahn will bring you to the conference. The main station is only a short walk away from the Stadthalle Braunschweig. You will get train schedule information from the Deutsche Bahn travel service by calling +49 800-1507090 (free) or check the Deutsche Bahn AG website

By Plane

Hannover's international airport is about 70 km away from Braunschweig. There is also a regular train service between Hannover airport and main station. The suburban railway line S5 leaves every 30 minutes from 4:30 a.m. until midnight. It takes you from Terminal C to Hannover main station. From there you can take a train to Braunschweig main station. Alternatively you can use a shuttle service that will take you to and from the airport in time.
